Arizona Hispanic Center of Excellence (AzHCOE)

The Arizona Hispanic Center of Excellence (AzHCOE) is part of a national effort funded by the Department of Health and Human Services - Health Resources and Services Administration. AzHCOE's goal is to promote the health of our community by meeting the needs of our country's growing Latino population. AzHCOE specifically seeks to:

  • increase the number of Latino/Hispanic physicians.
  • enhance health research that serves the Latino/Hispanic population in the Southwest.
  • improve the cultural competency of health care services for Latino/Hispanic communities.
